Concours virtuel – Ensemble à distance

With the Provincial Final of Concours d’art oratoire cancelled,  you can now participate in Concours Virtuel!

CPF-SK has teamed up with partners across Canada to launch a video contest where students share (en français, bien sûr) how they are dealing with social/physical distancing.

The Branch invites students in kindergarten through grade 12 across Saskatchewan to record and virtually post a 1-3 minute video, en français, sharing how they are spending their time while schools are closed and events are cancelled.

This is not a formal speech like the traditional Concours d’art oratoire. It is a more natural impromptu sharing exercise.

Fête du soleil 2020

Given that the COVID-19 situation in Saskatchewan is still quite fluid and the future is definitely unknown, the Branch Board of Directors has taken the decision to formally cancel the face-to-face Fête du soleil camps for the summer of 2020 in all the previously-planned locations.

To insure that some programming does still occur over July and August, the Branch Office is currently working to develop a replacement by way of a virtual Fête du soleil. Information will be posted as it becomes available.
