A perfect time to celebrate the FSL community!

Un moment parfait pour célébrer la communauté FLS!

February 5-9, 2024

This theme was selected with the purpose of recognizing all the people who support the FSL programs and students, in a broader sense, and how they should be identified and given a “thank you”… or a high-five! Students are encouraged to write a letter of gratitude or create a greeting card to be given to a person who supports them in their French-language learning journey. This could be a parent, guardian, grandparent, bus driver, librarian, or any number of other people. The school community is encouraged to perform “random acts of kindness” throughout the week to show support for each other too.

Teachers and students are encouraged to create and organize their own activities for the week. Further to that, CPF-SK is planning to hold a virtual performance/presentation in late February.

We ask schools to submit to CPF-SK a summary of their activities, number of participants as well as some photos. These will be used to create a French-Second-Language Education Week Special Edition Communiqué.
