The Chapter Liaison Officer is the principle contact and support person for Canadian Parents for French – Saskatchewan (CPF–SK) chapter volunteers. The successful candidate will focus on membership communication and chapter relations. Commitment to the principles of official bilingualism within Canada is a necessary attribute. Having personal experience with French-second-language education as a parent or student is a significant asset. A candidate who is fluently bilingual (English and French) is preferred. Some travel will be required. Other position details include:

  • Experience: A minimum of two to three years experience in a management position, particularly with volunteers, in an education-related sector.
  • Education: Post-secondary education, in a relevant field.
  • Skills: Communicate effectively (verbal and written); manage conflicting priorities; work collaboratively with persons from diverse backgrounds; work with, develop and support community-based initiatives; work with volunteer chapter Boards of Directors, and possess office competencies.
  • Payment: Salary will be based on experience. CPF-SK offers a generous benefits package.
