Each year, Canadian Parents for French – Saskatchewan honours two very important groups of people – our volunteers and the French-Second-Language educators in our province.
This year, two teachers were selected for Inspiring Teacher of the Year Award, Trista Germin and France Bédard (pictured below). Bédard, who was present at this year’s President’s Reception on September 11, 2015, expressed her gratitude and added that teaching over the last 25 years has been incredibly rewarding.
Each year, Canadian Parents for French – Saskatchewan asks educators, volunteers and students to think about an exemplary leader among the teacher community. The Inspiring Teacher Award is presented in recognition of the contribution of a teacher who:
- Promotes French-second-language education in their school or community.
- Inspires students of all abilities and backgrounds to learn French.
